Safe by design, grown-ups in charge.
Strudent is for kids, most of them under 13, so we built it to know as little about them as it can.
What we keep about your kid
- A made-up nickname. Please don’t use your child’s real name.
- Their grade, and interests picked from a list.
- A drawn picture and a PIN, kept only in scrambled form.
- Their progress and play time.
What we never ask for
- Real name
- Age or birthday
- School
- Location or address
- Photo
- Voice recording
- Kid email
- Free text about themselves
No ads, no trackers, no chat
There are no ads in Strudent, and we never sell or share your family’s data for ads. There are no trackers or analytics scripts on any page.
Kids never chat with anyone and never type anything about themselves. Their answers are numbers and taps.
Signing in
A grown-up makes the account and sets up each device. Kids sign in with their picture and a 4-digit PIN, never an email.
Before any kid plays, a grown-up reads how we handle their information and agrees.
Stories and the read-aloud voice
When AI stories are on, Anthropic’s Claude writes the stories from your kid’s nickname, grade and picked interests. When the natural voice is on, OpenAI reads lines aloud, and those lines can include the nickname.
You can turn either one off. The game then uses its built-in stories and your device’s own voice.
Time limits that hold
Set daily minutes for weekdays and weekends, and a play window like 4 to 7 PM. The limit holds across devices, and play stops once the episode ends.
Your data, your call
See each kid’s progress any time. Download everything we keep about your family as one file, or delete a kid’s profile or your whole account, whenever you like.
